Plank Road Pizza is a locally owned and operated establishment that is proud of its local roots. We wanted to take a moment to share with you some interesting stories that help to make us the unique place that we are:
The building itself is one of the oldest in Cottleville and has many of the original features such as the doors, windows, baseboards and working pocket doors in the entry area
If you sit in a booth, the wood that the booth is made of is actually constructed from the floor of the attic that was when we removed the ceiling to expose the beautiful historic architecture of our building.
The accent woodwork in the dining rooms was made from a local barn that was being removed from the farm that it had been on for many years.
The light fixture in the entry area as well as the frames surrounding the menu boards were constructed from boards from a barn on the owner’s Grandfather’s farm.
We feature beers from locally owned and operated breweries – Schlafly and Four Hands
Our tea and coffee are supplied by locally owned Thomas coffee
All of the contractors that assisted us with making Plank Road Pizza the place that it is are from the St. Charles area.
Thank you for visiting Plank Road Pizza and helping to “Keep it Local.”
